Never been in any trouble and is a hard worker. He is the only person that was close enough to Casey to try and get her to talk. Lee is the only one in that family that is not totally gone yet. It seems Casey was cursed with parents on the far end of the spectrum. You can almost pity her. This is true, but it is also true sociopaths can develop out of some twisted family situations. I think Casey is in large part the product of their consistent mishandled parenting.. I also think spitting venom at Casey for things like how she looks is obviously a way some vent their frustration.
Casey can be beautiful physically and be diseased inside. People are complicated, and when we think bad people are all bad, I think we are more likely to miss identifying a destructive personality because we see some good in them. Casey is a sociopath.
